Mixing serious fitness goals with a dose of fun, their approach to fitness is intense yet enjoyable – work hard, sweat hard – every drop counts! The brand pops with vibrant, bold colours designed to capture energy and attention and resonate with a lively, ambitious audience.

Vignettes are employed to illustrate ‘levelling up’. The droplet, a key logo element, creates a recurring droplet pattern. These droplets flow in both directions, symbolising fluctuating hydration levels. Rapid rehydration is vital for a fast recovery – every drop of hydration counts.

Powerlyte is an American brand stocked nationally in the Family Dollar Stores and online.

Perfect for athletes, parents, or office warriors – these massage oils come to the rescue when fighting stress and muscle fatigue.

Whether you need to invigorate, nurture or restore your muscles, this range is hand-made with the purest sweet almond oil and fortified with invigorating essential oils – no synthetic villains here!

The client wanted a label design that was strong, graphic and bold – with a superhero angle. Anything soft, feminine or flowery was to be avoided.

A liquid graphic pattern is used to represent the blended oils. Variant colours are based on the essential oils used.

Client brief was to create an identity that was ‘green, modern and medicinal – with a relaxed pacific island friendly feel.’

Graphics are based on the cannabis leaf form and join together to create a bespoke tapa cloth pattern, which can be used in numerous applications across the brand.

Launched in Europe – the ‘relaxed, pacific island feeling’ of this brand, ensured it stood out on shelf and was unique in a crowded European marketplace.

The boxes were printed with 4 Pantone special colours and finished with a mat laminate and high-build UV overgloss on isolated areas.

A bespoke shipper that converts into a point of sale display.

Shipping carton holds 24 products and the final folded counter display holds 6. Assembly instructions were printed in red for easy following. None of the red instructions remained on the final assembled display.

Grown in New Zealand and certified organic, this oil is gently cold-pressed to create the highest quality hemp seed oil in the world.

The dark colour of the glass helps to protect the oil.

In keeping with the pure, premium and simple nature of the product, we decided to screen print one colour white directly onto the glass instead of adhering a printed colour label.

The client wanted their marketing material refreshed with a cleaner, more sophisticated design that was to include more use of the colour green (in addition to their two-tone blue colour pallette).

Their existing posters used model photography with product placement, which wasn’t telling the right story.

Their special bottles were made from plants, bio-degradable and the company was going to up-cycle them, so the brand story was to focus on the environmental benefits and initiatives and less bout drinking water to be healthy.

I designed and wrote headlines for four posters (and a pamphlet) – each with it’s own message and created the illustrations, based on the water drop in their logo.

Waiheke Aerial Photography are creators of dramatic and unique photos and videos, taken by drone.

Letters W, A and V are incorporated into the drone icon (they primarily create videos). The red dot symbolises the camera filming and creates a visual link to the red name.

Recognised in New Zealand and Australia as a leader in event marketing, syndication and ticketing, Eventfinda – a New Zealand home grown company commissioned a rebrand for their launch into US and Global markets.

The company name was to be changed from Eventfinder to Eventfinda, so retaining the brand heritage and colour space was important moving forward.

The original trumpeting kiwi icon served the New Zealand market well, but was not relevant internationally. This was resolved by creating a unique new trumpeting creature who was more generic, but still retained the endearing qualities of the original kiwi icon.

Typography was refreshed to complete the transformation of the brand mark.

Her brief was to create a strong and simple identity that incorporated hands (for function) and reference to a butterfly (for transformation).

Porch Bar & Eatery is located in Saint Heliers, Auckland.

A casual bar and eatery which personifies beach-side chic with friendly service to relax and pass the time away. The brief was to create a simple and contemporary identity.

The client did not want it to look busy or vintage. I chose a san-serif typeface for a minimalistic feel and created a simplified rocking chair from the letter h.

Located in the suburb of Saint Heliers, Auckland – Little Saint is a seaside take-away coffee and lunch kiosk.

Adnan and Rachel requested a cherub be included in the design – with a fun, quirky and lighthearted approach overall. I illustrated the cherub holding a take-away coffee cup and added the hand-drawn type and soft background stripes for a relaxed, vintage feeling.

Matt Demon Expert Mens Hair Trade is an exclusive, private barber service in Newmarket, Auckland.

Matt created a man cave space for his clients – furnished with military paraphernalia and other big boys toys. He wanted the brand identity to align with this space and be very bold, masculine and assertive – with a military feel.

Stained glass windows are beautiful when backlit by the sun and also a unique way to showcase this design and print process.

The purpose behind this project was to illustrate the design capabilities for premium plastic business cards. Evan Reiman was an Entrepreneur and Screen Printer by trade and was taught these printing skills by his Father who was an influential figure in his life, but who had passed away. His Father was one of the last people in New Zealand to complete an apprenticeship for making stained glass windows, so the inspiration for these cards was to honour his memory by creating a special series of cards we felt passionate about.

These business cards are virtually hand made. Silk screen printed on a clear plastic stock and then dried one colour at a time.

Clear areas are treated as a colour unlocking the full design potential of the stock. A pearlescent seal and UV overgloss complete the design and create sophisticated effects.

Evan Reiman Memorial Lanyard

A very special lanyard created for family and close personal friends, to celebrate the memory of Evan Reiman.

Originally sealed in black boxes, these noise-cancellation headphones and earphones had no product windows in the packaging, so were not visible to consumers on shelf.

The feedback to the client from retail stores was that this was frustrating to sales staff and consumers, as they often wanted to open the boxes to see a physical sample and would accidentally damage the packaging.

The brief was to give the brand an overhaul with a fresh, bright and cohesive new look – that would be more open and approachable. Boxes were also re-designed so retailers could hang them – this meant they could be placed alongside competitor brands and not be limited to shelf-only sales areas.

The retail packaging range was updated to include a vertical product window for maximum product exposure and the boxes were designed with minimal packaging material use.

Slimmer space-saving Special Edition versions without product windows, were designed specifically for aircraft on-board sales.

The new branding was carried across to the website design, to complete the brand experience.
